Ok, so usually at my school today would the the first day of school after Winter Break. So my brother and I got up at six in the morning, got dressed, ate, etc. Before school starts, we go to my dad's work and wait for school to start. Like usual, I was Facebooking when a lady told me that there was no school. I freaked out and called my friend Luc asking him if there was school, but he didn't answer. Luckily another kid that goes to my school was online so I asked him if there was school. He said no and immediately started making fun of me ): So my dad checked his email, and, sure enough, there was no school. I was bummed out thinking that I'd have to wait for him till 4 p.m. But then he told us to take the bus home. Now this isn't your average 15 minute bus ride. I live in the San Fernando Valley and my school is in Culver City. It took us 2 and a half hours to get home. Along with my subway soda spilling all over the bus floor, a lady thinking I was Persian (I'm Hispanic, btw) An old black man blowing smoke through his nostrils making me move my soda and sitting next to me. It wasn't so bad, I got Subway for lunch, talked to my friend Cesar on the way, and I was VERY entertained by the t.v. on the bus. So remember, after every break no matter what, check if there's school.. otherwise, the same will happen to you. hah (:
